Your Story Is
Not Finished.
We look for the glitch first. Wherever development was disrupted, that's where we start. Not another label. The reason underneath the one you were already given.

Then we hand you the pen.

Where to Start
A free 15-minute call. Most people arrive knowing what they struggle with. We start with why.
See How It Works
Are You or Your Child…
If you recognize these symptoms, you're not imagining them. There's a reason underneath.

These are not behavior problems or motivation problems. They're what it looks like when the foundational systems underneath focus, learning, and emotional control never finished developing.
Apply-Free 15-Minute Fit Call
struggling to stay focused - even on simple tasks?
needing directions repeated over and over?
feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or resistant when it's time for school or work?
struggling to understand what they read, remember information, or keep up academically?
struggling socially, act out, or have frequent emotional outbursts?
struggling with messy handwriting, poor posture, or getting tired quickly when writing?
constantly moving, fidgeting, or unable to sit still?
Everyone Stops at the Symptom
They Can See.
Reading tutors stop at reading. Reflex providers stop at reflexes. The evaluation industry stops at the label.

But retained reflexes, attention struggles, and learning difficulties are symptoms — not roots. The root is a foundation that never fully developed.

We start there. And we don't stop when the foundation is built.
Learn How We Help
Can't focus. Can't sit still.
Early reflexes that never switched off, still pulling at attention and movement. The body is working to stay still, so there is less left for focusing.
Sensitive to noise, textures, tags, crowds.
A balance system that hasn't finished developing, so the body is never quite sure where it is in space. Everything coming in feels louder than it is.
Speech came late, or is still hard to follow.
The part of the brain that handles timing and sequencing is underactive. Speech depends on both, long before it depends on vocabulary.
Clumsy. Messy handwriting. Avoids writing.
Eyes that haven't learned to track and team properly, sitting on top of a posture system that isn't stable yet. The hand gets blamed for what the eyes and core are doing.
Anxious. Melts down at transitions.
The most primitive part of the nervous system is working overtime to keep them feeling safe. There is little capacity left for change, surprise, or waiting.
Behavior that looks like choice.
A foundation that was never finished, asking for more effort than they actually have available. What looks like won't is very often can't.

These are patterns we assess for, not one-to-one explanations. What you have already been living with often has a developmental reason underneath it — and assessment is what determines whether it is there in your child.

How We Help
At The Paper Tree House, we follow a structured, neurodevelopmental approach that focuses on building the brain from the ground up:
- Regulation and energy production
- Primitive reflex integration
- Balance and vestibular development
- Visual (ocular) function
- Cognitive processing and executive function

When these systems are developed in the right sequence, focus improves, learning becomes easier, and performance increases naturally.

We absolutely love The Paper Tree House!  My son is learning how to be better organized and prepared for school.  The tutors are amazing and caring.  So happy we found this place to help my son get adjusted to being back in school and starting middle school.

This place is amazing! The woman we met with was exceptional. We happen to be on vacation and came to this mall on a whim. I would now come here just for this store. We got to see some real animals and felt really connected after we left. You definitely need to check this place out and support them. Thank you again.

We have seen such a difference in our son after intensive classes working on everything from writing to cognitive development and coordination after a thorough evaluation. Nana is the best and is willing to work with you on developing the best program for your child depending on their needs and in my son’s case gaps in learning. She offers all kinds of programs and events driven by evidence-based interventions for children. It can also be a fun, enriching place with animal encounters and programs for kids of all ages.

We love taking our kids to The Paper Treehouse and they love being there.  It's such an innovative and educational environment.  The owner and staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable regarding child education.  It is also amazing the way that they incorporate the several unique and friendly animals into their programs.  This is trully a special place!

Nana and her team at the Paper Tree House are amazing! The time and dedication put into truly understanding our daughter was apparent from the first communication. We were able to figure out the deeper "why" of what is preventing our daughter from reaching her fullest potential and were provided next steps and follow-up on how to get there.

Wow!! Can’t believe I did not know about this spot. We just celebrated my son’s 7th birthday. The space is perfect, cozy, beautiful, and clean! Nana was helpful and brilliant! The way she speaks to kids is captivating. She grabs their attention and then loads them up with knowledge! She was so kind and thoughtful, I’m already anticipating hosting another party with her. We did a science party and everyone had so much fun! Guests were blown away.
